I appreciate you taking the time to visit my site and learn more about what I do. Creating with concrete isn’t just my work—it’s my passion, and I feel lucky every day that I get to share it with others.

ABOUT

BEGINNINGS
I’m a Tennessee native, and for as long as I can remember, I’ve loved drawing, building, and figuring out how things work. As a kid, I was the one taking toys apart just to see how they were made. That curiosity for both creativity and functionality has been with me my whole life.

As soon as I was old enough to work, I threw myself into hands-on trades - doing everything from carpentry and custom tiled kitchens and baths - to project management for a remodeling company. Along the way, I also built custom wood furniture. These trades gave me invaluable knowledge about the importance of detail and craftsmanship - lessons which I still use today.

A concrete choice
Through it all, concrete was always on my mind. I was fascinated by its possibilities—both practical and artistic. In 2017, after attending the Concrete Design School, I decided to take the leap and dedicate myself fully to this medium. I haven’t looked back since.

Everything I learned from my past trades continues to shape the work I do today. Carpentry taught me how to build the complex frames and molds that give concrete its form. Tile work trained my eye for precision and finish. And project management taught me how important it is to truly listen to clients, understand their needs, and bring them into the creative process.

why i love concrete
Concrete excites me because it’s limitless. It challenges me to make things I’ve never made before and gives me the freedom to experiment in ways few other materials allow.

Unlike stone or wood, concrete has no seams—it allows for seamless, continuous designs that feel solid and timeless. Its texture can range from raw and rugged to smooth and refined, and its colors are just as versatile.

To me, concrete is the perfect balance of fine detail and immense strength. It’s natural, beautiful, and powerful—transforming any space it becomes part of.

Artist Statement
My goal with Elemant Concrete Design is simple:
-
To connect with people who are as inspired by the possibilities of concrete as I am.
-
To be challenged and energized by every project, no matter the size.
-
To welcome clients into the creative process and allow their vision to guide the work.
-
And to keep pushing my own boundaries, both artistically and technically.
At the end of the day, I want each piece I create—whether it’s a countertop, a fireplace, a piece of furniture, or a sculptural work—to carry the same rugged beauty and refined detail that drew me to concrete in the first place.
